Source: Find Mamta Kafle FB Page

Mamta Kalfe Bhatt, a 28-year old Pediatric Nurse from Manassas Park, Virginia, has been missing from her family’s home since July 31, 2024.

According to the Facebook page dedicated to finding her:
⭑ Mamta was last publicly seen in Manassas park, July 31.
⭑ She never made it to her work shift on August 1.
⭑ Mamta has a 10-month old baby girl.
⭑ According to friends and family, she would never leave her child like that.
⭑ Mamta was actively looking for help in separating with her husband.
⭑ Her husband, Naresh Bhatt waited around a week to report her missing.

Friends and family have been coordinating with local authorities to find Mamta as soon as possible. Naresh, her husband, had been silent for more than a week and hadn’t clarified why he waited so long to file the missing person report.

But finally, in an interview with eNepalese.com, he admitted that the couple were going through marital issues, and had even separated unofficially at various times. On the night of July 31, after having dinner, Naresh claims both husband and wife slept separately. After that, he hasn’t seen her.

On August 1, the hospital where Mamta worked called the police after Mamta failed to show up for her shift at work. On August 2nd, the police visited Naresh to follow up about Mamta. Naresh claimed that Mamta had left the house like this several times before, so he thought this time was the same.

After she still wasn’t found, on August 4th, on the urging of the local police, Naresh filed a missing persons’ report. Police are investigating the case.
