👋 Namaste - This weeks newsletter is a bit thin as we spent a lot of time talking to Nepalis students and young professionals living in Canada and United States.

Since writing 5minsNepal, we’ve been approached by many (especially from Canada), asking for help and advice navigating their careers.

They are scared about their uncertain future - specially when it comes to immigration and job security. After hearing the same stories, again and again, we wanted to see how we can help.

We have some ideas, but if you want to help, or if you are one, reply to this email and lets talk!

Now, let’s get back to the newsletter 👇

Heroic Actions During Floods

The recent floods and landslides in Nepal have caused devastating damage across the country, resulting in at least 217 deaths, and 27 missing persons.

While the government officials stay on the sidelines announcing empty gestures like the national 3-day mourning period, we have real people and real heroes stepping up.

Let’s celebrate some of them 👇

Creator Recommendation

Subash Karki’s is a YouTube creator who interviews interesting Nepalis around the world. Some Nepalis he has interviewed is a pilot that owns 7 planes, and an entrepreneur who owns antique guns from Nepal.

Although Subash covers political events as well, his videos about interesting Nepalis are (in our opinion) much more interesting to watch.
